    1. Store beatmarker as hotcue: I had to disable this feature as it causes a problem if you accidentally delete the "hotcue"/beatmarker. If you do this from the D2 its not possible to set a new beatmarker from the D2, right? It would be very handy to be able to set a hotcue and define the hotcue type from the D2.
    2. Performance pads: With the performance controls in "loop mode" it should be possible to use the lower "beat jump" pads as "loop move" by a pre-defined amount of beats if you are in a active loop or even to set the move length by maybe shift-browse?
    3. Select deck flavour: Switching between a track-/remix-/stem-/live-deck from the D2....is this possible?

Incorrect, you can set a hotcue/beatmarker using the D2. Please explain to me a scenario where i can help.

Yes this is correct behavior as you describe. if you want to change beat size on the fly on a pad, use the loop encoder. Shift-loop encoder can also move the loop.

Track, remix and STEM flavors happen automatically and/or by pressing the REMIX. Live input needs to be done manually. I have what you described MIDI mapped to an F1.

I know how to set a normal (blue) hotcue. But if you delete a beatmarker stored as a hotcue (white) I have found no way to set a new grid from the D2. But this is no biggie as I don't know why anyone would want to use up one hotcue for a beatmarker

Shift-loop encoder will move the playback position by the set loop length leaving the loop behind instead of shifting the loop. The same behaviour go for the 4 lower pads. To me it would be natural to be able to shift the loop by the loop length by shift+loop encoder and by the defined amount set in prefrences for the 4 lower pads

Well, moving from a Remix Deck is straight forward by loading a track if the deck is not playing. If you want to set a deck to a Remix Deck for capturing loops I have found no way to make this switch. Loading a loop into a track deck does just that, it will not switch the deck to a Remix Deck.
I have a F1 as well, but its currently not in use, but from that i'm also not able to switch between a track and a remix deck.

I did check the manual, but of course not word by word.

Well.. On default setting a new hotcue should be always a "blue" one.
If you accidently delete the GRID Marker (white) i see no way to recreate this one with the D2.
I agree this would be very nice in some situations having the choice directly to create a gridmarker (white) instead of a standard hotcue (blue) with the D2.
