All the reaktor essentials came up just fine. But ensembles of mine mostly didnt work. It is actually much worse with instrument files and macros. But all the files direct from the factory worked. I say that they mostly work because an occasional file does seem to work. All the ones that dont work instead of the icons coming up as .ens and so forth. they just say "file". So im wondering if im saving the files in some type of manner to make them not work but how many different ways can you save an instrument in reaktor. One of the uploads i put in the library "ulticomb" is suffering from the same problem. The file opened up in my mac just fine when i downloaded it from the user library. I feel pretty convinced that it was the compression software that did it. Since im using stuffit on the mac. Rather than winzip. Havent had the chance to test the theory since i already had to spend two days emailing my entire library to myself.. need to get a firewire drive but i cant afford it.

I've heard people mention a little utility called 'reaktormaker' that converts pc reaktor files to mac. Haven't used it, though. I guess it changes the thing in the file properties that remembers what filetype mac files are, rather than having it in a suffix like on pc.

yeah that utility is a little of a requirement. it cant seem to change anything though as far as sending from mac to pc. Whats got me real perplexed is that some them seem to work and some dont.

You should stick to using your PC.
