My old patches are not visible in FM8!

Just bought a new Catalina Mac and migrating my music stuff onto it. I'm having a real problem with getting FM8 to see my patches. I didn't have this problem before with migrating to other machines in the past...

On the FM8 GUI I'm clicking File > Options

Then selecting the Database tab, clicking Add to add more sounds. Selecting the folder with all my patches and clicking Choose.

Then I click Rebuild DB and wait for quite a while. It says it is doing it in the background, but I can't see any spinning wheel or anything letting me know what is going on. Nothing tells me the rebuild database is finished, so after a while I click OK.

But when I re-launch FM8 I can only see the folder but not the patches within the folder.

Any ideas? I really need these sounds and I have lots of them! They were from an older version of FM8 that I was using on a 10.6 (Snow Leopard) computer, but surely that should not be a problem?

    UPDATE...

Ah... KSD Batch Convert! I didn't realise NI had changed the file format! D'oh! It's been a long time since I was looking at any NI updates or new features because I was working with an old Snow Leopard setup!
