My top 5 wishes for GUITAR RIG 5

If it worths the upgrade for me depends on how well made the new amps are. :S


And i am happy that they added 2 high gainers! THX for listening.
And the new effects and container look very useful.


I am spoiled by the AT3 amps. But i still like the GR workflow and effects so much better. And i could use my RK2 again.

They should bundle everything (all the different plugins/fx) that works in GR5 and offer it as an upgrade for GR4 pro users. It really has to be worth our while to upgrade otherwise, this gravy train has just run out of steam.

 

I think this is a good idea.....


I'm a little disappointed with GR5,its got some cool new effects and features but,the 5150 and Soldano SLO 100 have been done to death,everybody has a version of these amps.I would like to have seen something different like a Brunetti or a Laney or maybe a MesaBoogie Stilletto.

 

I just read that the Soldano model is of a Hotrod 50,if thats true,I'm sorry for any confusion and .............................WAY cool

 

The interface would suggest so. The Hotrod 50+ looks like a SLO but with chickenhead knobs, just as the GR5 faceplate does. The Hotrod 50+ also has a Depth control which the SLO 100 does not. The GR5 hot solo + has both of those features. THe Hotrod 50 was also specifically asked for by the community as something wanted because the SLO has already been done. NI tried to give us something different and what is standard at the same time. I know I am happy.

THe Hotrod 50+ has the same lead channel as the SLO so I am happy

I really want to see a drop tune effect that would be awesome
