I want to use maschine principally to play live. Here is a list of improvements that I would like to see in future updates of maschine.

    1. Several tabs for projects, so we would not have to wait for project to be loaded after another in a live performance.
    2. Improve the grid to be able to put longer notes with the step sequencer in maschine jam, for example pianos or pads notes
    3. being able to keep the focus on a sound while changing patterns in maschine jam. To be able to use maschine for drums, maschine jam to sequence a sound and komplete kontrol for pads, for example.
    4. When a new pattern is created, its length is not the default one, but the length of the previous pattern. For example, I have a pattern of two bars and if I have four bars by default, the new pattern created would be the same length as the previous one. This would be great if it was per project
    5. Possibility to keep the level, macro and aux buttons at the same level always in maschine jam. When I change something, that buttons become at it´s initial state.
    6. Always leave the pergormance fx buttons on when you automate the effect. Whenever you lift your finger from the smart strip and you're in a car, the effect shuts down.
    7. Being able to record a complete performance with the new audio update.
    8. Record external audio like a looper for live performances.

I'm sure I can think of more things later, and I'll keep putting them in this post. Greetings to everyone and sorry for the english :)

Your English is fine. I have edited your post and numbered your list for ease of discussion, hope you don't mind.
Here are my thoughts on your suggestions:

#1 - I'm no computer genius but I don't think this request is technically possible as far as fully eliminating loading time + saving resources at the same time, if it was possible we would see this in DAWs. This has been discussed here in case you want to read about it.
Some software do have similar options, Cubase, for example, can have multiple projects open while only one is "Activated" but when switching it still needs loading time, Ableton has a deactivate feature which helps to save some CPU resources but has no impact on RAM. Remember people already complain about Maschine being a resource hog as far as CPU goes so before anything of this sort can even be attempted we definitely need better CPU management and Core Usage (Maschine currently only uses physical CPU cores and no Threads)

#2 - You mean longer than 1 Bar? (I don't have a Jam, just curious)

#3 - Basically a Lock-Sound-Focus feature (so that changing patterns doesn't change the focus.) and controller independent Sound/Group
Focus? These 2 features would be absolutely amazing. They would have to be toggleable though. This has been requested a lot, im considering adding it to the Most Requested Features sticky thread.

#4 - Interesting. More "default" pattern length options would be welcome indeed.

#5 - Like a Spring-back to the previous state when you take your finger out of the strip? Like a pitch wheel? That makes sense depending on what the strip is controlling.

#6 - This is how the MK3 strip behaves while controlling Perform FX, for that it makes sense, does the Jam behave differently? For regular FX this would have to be a toggle option as we don't want mixing fx like reverbs, for example, to return to 0 when letting go of the strip.

#7 - I wouldn't get my hopes up for that anytime soon, the development focus now is on Audio Features and it's soon to be released implementation is very simple, it will take some time to be refined, hopefully after that's out of the way the focus can be on Performance Recording / Song Mode.

#8 - I think this is included in "Audio Features" plans, and should come eventually as those features get expanded upon.
As a personal side note, it annoys me very much that development time would be used for this specific feature, I bought Maschine because it's a sampler/drum machine workstation, if I wanted a looper capable unit I would have bought a standalone looper. A sampler not having sampler and workflow updates for ages is quite annoying.

I wonder if NI reads these threads.

They constantly brag about their feedback and consultation with the community. Yet we don’t see any of that in the forum.

They do and they don't. :D Just like I or you would do in their shoes.
From what I can tell (basically assume) there are some NI employees that pay attention, when something is relevant enough those people might point out some things to staff that is higher up in the hierarchy. However, as we all know not everyone makes sense, there are a lot of different opinions and a million threads discussing the same thing over and over so most of our ramblings are most likely overlooked.

I used to participate a lot more in threads of certain topics that now I avoid because I believe they're pointless and lead more towards argument between forum users than to resolutions. I love debating with people about things I am passionate about but I don't like arguing.

A major bug or issue will definitely get noticed, we have seen that happen recently with MK3.
The feature request sticky thread has definitely had a look by NI, if they consider those suggestions or not is another question though. I wish people participated more in liking/commenting the feature suggestion subforum as it can be an organized representation of the community and be more useful the "rant threads".

Thanks for edit my post :)

    # 1, Well, this is not the most important improve to me but it would be great. It is a pity that it can not be done

    # 2 Yes, longer. if I'm not wrong now, in maschine, the shortest pattern can be divided into four parts at the most. When you want to play a long piano note or pad and use the step sequencer, you can not make a note with the full length of the stop. I do not know if I explained well :)

    # 3 Yes, I think it´s one of the most important things to play live with maschine.

    # 5 & 6 when you want to automate perform fx there comes a time when you have to remove your finger from the smart strip and then the smart sprip goes off. I do not know if I'll be doing it wrong. To play live without automating, however, is perfect. But I would like to see an option to be able to show it always on.

#10 I have played five years with a band of rock the guitar, besides singing and being in charge of transporting mixer, PA's etc. I am old, I am 39 years old and there are things that weigh a lot. My amplifier, a twein reverb, 30 kg for example, and all the material I had to transport every time I was going to give a concert. Now that I intend to play alone, I would love to be able to simplify my setup to the fullest and it would be great if maschine could also do live looper.

Thank you very much for having read my post and having responded.

And another one, perhaps for me the most important of all, I had forgotten

    # 9 Being able to wait for one pattern to end so another begins, having a button for example per group to change instantly or wait for one pattern to finish so the next one begins. I think playing live would be the most important thing for me.

    Thanks :)

Hi, maybe if people did not write posts like these, many improvements in maschine would not have been made. I think that what NI wants is to sell products and keep their buyers happy by buying the next generation of products. It is essential if you want to survive in the business that you have a general vision of what the public wants. If not, they would be lost. I do not know whether or not they will do the list I wrote above, but I think that if there is something to improve and it is possible to do it and many users ask that it be done, sooner or later, they will end up doing it (I hope).

I hope this doesn't sound harsh but that's a bit innocent. Keep in mind people have been repeatedly asking for things hundreds of times for several years and some have been answered some have not. After 10/15 new forum threads this one will get buried in the 2nd page, then the 3rd and so on until its eventually forgotten, and it doesn't take long, sometimes just a few days. If you feel strongly about a suggestion then use the Feature suggestion subforum, at least it won't be buried under 1000 posts of completely unrelated stuff.

    1. Not sure how well Maschine would handle it as it currently is in terms of CPU resource management, but REAPER allows multiple project tabs. I'd prefer mltiple rrangers that different prjects (i.e., sets of Groups and Scenes) could be loaded into.

    2. Fair enough. Doesn't bother me, but why not? You can edit note oength after, of course, and Jam is clearly not aimed at such note input (i.e., step sequencing drums and melodies mainly).

    3. This distinction and separation has long been desired, so hpefully we'll see it in some form one day.

    4. I've been screaming for, at the very least, a "Scene" option for the default Pattern length, which would allow so-called "linear" recording across Scenes a breeze and mean much fewer edits of of Pattern length. It's one of my top-wanted features (if you can even call it a feature, it's just an extra value in an existing parameter).

    5. and 6. Not really clear about.

    7. Performance recording is a (promised) must.

    8. Recording into the audio module is essential.

No, you don´t sound harsh :). My only purpose is to contribute my knowledge to the community and to discuss future updates on how to improve maschine. Yes, another post like the usual ones, but maybe from here, if people like any suggestion, we can take new ways to help make machine better every day. I may be innocent, but I want to contribute something.

I am a new user since this year, and here are people who have been around for many years. I've been reading the forums a lot and I think if I can help something, I'll be happy.
