Sorry, I forgot the Denon DJ’s Prime 4. This is a good options for wedding/event DJ's. It does have all the features I require, and is a quality manufacturer.

Personally I don't like the "Stand Alone" feature, but it is still possible to "Plug-In" a notebook so it would defiantly work. The Mic controls are great (Denon have always done great mic preamps), and there is a Zone & Booth output. Overall a great option..

Would be really great to get that progress update from NI.
    • Is this project still moving forward?
    • Will we be able to make and save playlists?
    • Will we be able to see what tracks we've already played?
    • In other words, are we ever going to get feature parity with Version 1?
    • What about the issue with Traktor Audio 2 MAIN output not working?

Pedram, it's been almost a year since your comment here, but no news or major updates. Can you somehow say the current situation and where is the Traktor Pro now?

    Hi Almaz and friends!
The other day I was talking about this but after rage quit I didn’t wrote again my thoughts.
From my POV I think NI has some hard decissions about Traktor division and maybe they aren’t sure how the strategy will go.
    Let me explain a bit…
In one side we had Traktor Dj2 an universal app (which means it works on M1 from even before its inception) and Traktor Pro 3 (which was time ago stated being deprecated but finally not).
In the meantime another not released project become the main effort. I’m talking about M+.

So after the last statement from Pedram where it seemed to point towards revamping Traktor Pro3 and after some movements like closing the Knowledge base (the Traktor Dj2 pseudo user forum) and radio silence (includding maintenance updates) I will say some scenarios could be happening at the same time (or none and just dying…)

One option could be fastforwarding Traktor Dj2 into the promised new Traktor (4?) iteration meanwhile keeping 3 on updates since Traktor Dj2 didn’t go enough well and hardware issues are probably more common than expected/desired. Jog lack wasn’t the issue after all… (IMHO but as we can see be more complex than that)
In the other hand it could be possible that NI consider a T+ (in parallel to Apple Silicon transition) but since I feel M+ has its own issues sales weren’t the better projection done but not a fail neither. Maybe the Apple Silicon “priorization” means that finally NI understood what I was pointing from more than a year now (even before Apple announced Silicon transition)
Releasing something less capable than Djay Pro on iPad (spleeter stems, video, pioneer support…) will be a fail IMO (with or without jogs) but not releasing anything will be another nail in the coffin of Traktor and NI themselves.

So options are and strategies too but the first thing NI should clearified (for themselves and for users) is what market segment are aiming for?
    Bedroom or Professionals? Both? How?

I can see some solutions and even new products based on actual and future technologies but my concern is still “deadlines and features”.

Another day we can talk about Maschine and Roland Sp series too but for today get my 2c and share yours. Maybe NI is listening even not answering…

The tumbleweed says enough to me. No focus on traktor. Focus on profitability through sound packs and subscriptions.

    THIS IS VERY SAD.

If NI is moving away from Traktor Pro it's a sad day. When transitioning from CD's I started out with PCDJ-VJ (actually VDJ), but moved to Tracktor in 2011, and have used it ever since. Over the years I have tried Serato DJ and VDJ (which I still use for karaoke), but I still find Traktor a superior product.

Well, we don’t know and let’s hope NI brings us some useful info by themselves. Only them know what will come and when will it be delivered.

Totally agree, I am not giving up. I will be using Traktor Pro 3 tomorrow night, at my NYE event. Hope to be doing the same for many years to come. :)

Well I’m just trying to convince myself but at the same time I have zero expectation since, for my actual needs, I can do more from free version of VDJ than Traktor (realtime spleeter stem from video for karaoke).
Even if NI releases something for iPad/iPhone in the future IDK if it will suit my needs or arrive on proper timeline.

said that I hope NI fixes the communication mess. It’s the less they can do for their users…
