    Hi everyone,

I have a project coming up soon (2 weeks). I finished scoring and am now working on instruments. I depend on NI libraries heavily and unfortunately I am unable to install NI packages.

    Setup:
    M1 mac mini
    Big Sur, 11.6
    Logic pro X: 10.6.3

NI Komplete 12 ultimate harddrive but upgraded to Komplete 13 ultimate (no harddrive, just license key).

    Images below:
    1_ni_installed + 2_ni_installed: all installed NI libraries
3_ni_locations: my custom locations are on an external SSD
4_dmg_download: when installing, say Solid EQ FX, dmg is download correctly
5_unknown_error: when installing Solid EQ FX, I am getting a "Installing Solid EQ FX failed: An unknown error occurred"
6_ni_folders_installed: a view of all the stuff in NI shared folder
7_mac_settings: I enabled full disk access to Native Access program

    Other errors:
When installing George Duke soul Treasures I am getting: "an error occurred while running the installer"

    Notes:
I get an error when installing Platinum Bounce but as you can see in 6_ni_folders_installed, "Platinum Bounce Library" is installed. Battery can't see this under it's library tab, but I can load the battery kits (nbkt) files manually.

    Any advice is really appreciated!

See compatibility notes for M1 processor. Some things work in Rosetta, some natively, but not all. For mission critical consider using your existing Intel setup to meet deadline.

    Thanks will reach out.

I also found a solution! For anyone facing the same issue, here is what I did:
Since I was using the Komplete 12 Ultimate hard drive, I think NA was trying to install binaries from the harddrive and then applying the necessary upgrades. This might have been causing an issue because of M1 compatibility. So, I disconnected the Komplete 12 Ultimate hard drive and installed the necessary packages via the cloud. This time NA probably downloaded the upgraded packages and everything went installed, albeit slowly (cause of internet connection)!

I have an issue where all of a sudden (starting late yesterday) Native Access just won't start with the following error:
