I wanted to check for an update for Massive X that fixes the black screen issue, but NA fails to start.
It was working fine earlier today.

    Any ideas?

Have the same issue ... Had some new stuff come in and wanted to Register ... I think its an issue with the server as logging in to the website also gave me an error ... got in after a few retry's but opening NA still gives this error

I have exactly the same issue, I only downloaded some updates a few days ago so I know it was working ok. I have followed the advice on the website and still the same problem exists. My internet connection is working fine.
I have downloaded a fresh copy and installed it with no change, I think this is a NI issue.

    Yeah its kind of weird
    I would agree ...
However there is no report from any of the mods on here that there is an issue
and also nothing on the website as far as i could see

    Same here.

Looks like a Native Instruments server problem...

Yeah ... and Login to the main website also shows "connection failed" which looks like they have an issue with this in their backend ... and I really HOPE it's only a technical issue and no data leakage issue.

Whew - glad to see I am not alone. I went thru NI's outdated "proxy" article for Windows 10 and checked everything else here - have made no changes and have never seen this message - so I am relieved to see this being something from the mothership.

    Cheers!

Oh man, I could have saved a lot of time and stress by looking here first. Hopefully NI people can get this sorted soon.

Same here, It says problem processing your request and asks me to signin in which fails.

It seems to have a problem communicating with the server to log you in possibly. Logging into native access via brower to the ni website is fine though

I can confirm that there is an ongoing issue preventing the connection to NA for some users.
We're working on it now with the highest priority and hopefully we can get this sorted as soon as possible.
    Sorry about that everyone

From the SUPPORT Page "Please note that we are investigating an issue where some users receive an error when attempting to log-in to Native Access. We hope to resolve the problem shortly. Apologies for the inconvenience."

    Hopefully shortly means shortly!!

Well at least that is A confirmation that NI is also aware
I would think it's a massive sever outage of sorts or some idiot is DDOSing the crap out of NI's servers

Huh, I've bought Complete Collector's edition 2 hours ago, can't log in, download and use it. Crappy start.
