I'll just let the NI product releases speak for itself. That's cool that you been on here longer, but I have more NI products. So I'm confident in the long run they win this battle. Some of us in the past with MPC's have been burned by akai. You will see what I'm talking about. Hope the akai works for you. I'm sure you will want the kontrol down the line anyway.

how did akai burn you, did they put features in that they had to remove because they didn't work, did they break some features while removing others, or was it something like they half finished the majority of the features and removed useful ones? I'm curious because that touch screen mpc they are developing looks interesting.

Don't know about Akai, but you are describing a whole bunch of software developers here, including NI (cue the skism dislike hah)

Maybe YOU can't do that but plenty of people have been creating complete songs on Maschine. Other than linear audio tracks for things like vocal tracks, there's nothing stopping anyone from making songs as one would in a "basic DAW". Most people who whine about "not being able to arrange songs" are blaming the tool instead of looking at themselves.

Do what you like but I don't think the mods here will agree with you. They're gracious and open enough as it is to allow a spam thread for a competitor's product in the main Maschine area.

At this point you're always bashing Maschine and Native Instuments to the point of harassment with your consistency, even to the point of taking repeated stabs at NI QA and the beta testers and trolling and arguing with the mods when your fellow haters like Doucheka keep making posts about obscure and mostly irrelevant "bugs" as if just to hate on Maschine:

And speaking of hater trolls on here, they can't seem to figure out the difference between making feature requests and just coming here daily to constantly whine and bitch about Maschine and NI in general:
The bottomline is, NI is not providing this forum for hater trolls like yourselves to whine and moan and basically do anything to put Maschine/NI in a negative light.

It doesn't matter whether you weren't paying attention or you just say things you don't know anything about just because you want to believe it. I've done my share of helping fellow Maschine users out with tips over the years, some of which many people had no idea about before and were very thankful that I shared them here.

I'll share a few of them with you here since you seem so concerned about it:

No one has mentioned this for 'real time' time stretching. I had an S5000 but had to have this when it came out as nothing else would do the same, there were a few software tools but computer music was still in its infancy at the time.I refused to stop using hardware :D This cost me £2500, 6 months later i see it going for £599 o_O

Although it was touted as 'real time' you still had to encode the audio with one of 3 Roland algorithms before you could mess about in real time with those knobs.

The same Vari Phrase technology was by then being used in software if i remember correctly, and Roland released their V-Synths

yeah and when the tools are like running through mud folks are allowed to want them to change

Ive got all three of the hybrid drum offerings and Maschines sequencer is by far the worst, by a long shot...complete songs? more power to them, there isnt a daw Id rather not use than maschines sequencer. In fact Ive tried many times to use it and everytime it ends up in a DAW as a plug in

I like the hardware, I love the sounds, but the sequencer is awful

    imho

I tried and tried to get on with Maschine the past 6 months after deciding to give it a go after many years with Cubase(MPC's before that) But i also found myself just using it as a plug in my DAW and finding myself just using Cubase again. I just couldn't use the sequencer and do what i do with Cubase.

I'm like you, i really like the hardware and all NI stuff but i found i wasn't getting anywhere.

My Maschine Studio is now up for sale, and i am back making tracks with a smooth workflow like before.

Yes it works for many people but i suspect many of those have used Maschine from the start of their music production lives or have the patience of a saint o_O;)

LOL. Overcome is still one of the hottest tracks I've ever heard. That whole triphop genre was just dope as hell. Moody, subtle.

I was into Jungle back in the day though I was too young to know how it was made at the time. Listening back to that stuff now, it's kind of crazy what these guys were doing production wise in the 90's.

I have asked this b4 but neva got a clear answer exactly what are you unable to do in the sequencer that you so desperately need?

as long as u can create a pattern for chorus, a pattern for a bridge and a pattern for a verse what else do u really need?

i get u want automation but there are ways around that such as tracking out in real time; so sure u should still be able to get it in with what is currently on offer in maschine?
