First I didn't create this thread and I haven't been promoting any other companies products. I've been commenting on a product that I like, yes. That's what this thread is about. It's in the ******* title. Someone posts a video about the Advance, I comment. Notice that I haven't even posted an external link to any of Akai's products on this page. I respond in a positive manner because it's a product that I find interesting and I'm spamming the forum? That's just stupid. I'm not entitled to comment on a product I'm interested in? If NI had a problem with this thread it wouldn't exist, so I'm not sure what's up your but about my comments.

As for the bug comment. I took issue with b-righteous and Sowari trying to downplay a bug, it doesn't matter how obscure it is, it's a performance bug. It doesn't affect 2.1 or 1.8 but it does affect 2.2.4. I didn't think it was fair to bash Tooshka about the bug when it wasn't his bug and he took the time and effort to post examples and videos of the bug. If you read my posts I agreed several times that his initial comment and thread title were uncalled for but that downplaying the bug and focusing on his comment instead was the wrong approach to the issue. I wanted to discuss the bug not Tooshka's comments. The mods kept making it about his comments instead of the bug. note I wasn't the only one in the thread who took issue with that.

I do have issues with NI QA because since 2.2 Maschine has not been stable and has not performed well. I do have issues with NI's business practices of late in relation to Maschine (and in smaller part Komplete), I have no qualms admitting it and have no qualms about speaking my mind on the matter. I haven't called NI names, and I haven't bashed them unfairly, imo. I think they have issues right now and in every instance of so called bashing I re-iterate that I'm a fan that is currently very disappointed with a company that I once admired to a fault (though obviously not as much as you). You can call me an NI hater or whatever, you have very little evidence to back it up other than the occasional criticism of their current business practices. Criticism is not hate, criticism is supposed to be constructive in whatever form you that comes in. NI can either ban users for criticizing them or can take that criticism and turn it into a positive.

 

How is this helpful in any way:

The mods and others on this forum made it very clear that they caught on to both Tooshka and you trolling the forum and making a fuss about an obscure irrelevant "bug":

@skizm, I like how you cherry pick comments but don't actually look at all my comments in that thread where I was trying to address the bug and not Tooshka's comment. Everyone wanted to make it about Tooshka. I didn't really care about Toohska's comment as it didn't really affect me the bug on the other hand was something that I can easily reproduce and a sampler that can't playback pitched samples regardless of how you do it without severe cpu spikes is a huge bug imo. I don't see how that is so hard to understand. My harsher responses were to Organic_dream and the other NI fanboys on here who wanted to derail the thread anyway were responding to my plea to make the thread about the bug not about tooshka's comment. They attacked me because I was more concerned about the bug than the stupid thread title. But whatever.

I really don't want this thread to be closed. So I will keep my posts about the Advanced Keyboard. This is how you guys operate you don't like thread you get into an argument (and I don't mind arguing so it's usually me) and the thread gets closed.

I want this thread to survive. I've learned more about the advanced keyboard on this thread alone than anywhere else and I will take an L if it means you guys STFU. I will STFU too.

1. For the record, i have spoken to NI about that other thread, they have no intention of banning or bashing anybody for finding bugs, they didnt particularly like my thread title (which is fair comment, the bug was killing a job i was working on and i was annoyed) however they dont condone any bashing or derailing in that thread (they made that very clear) they could recreate the bug using the group i posted in the first post and have taken note of it, any further derailing or bashing for finding bugs is to be reported, however i shall avoid posting any annoyed bug reports titles from now on, how the moderators act from here on in is now a matter for NI, and although i am not happy about the current update rate/fixes (which is my right to have my opinion as a consumer), i am happy with the way they viewed that thread with a much leveller head than some
2. it also has to be said, when dealing direct with somebody from NI (Not support, i find them patronising at best and incompetent at worst, just my experience) you are reminded quite a bit of what this fine company once was and should/can be, they have knowledgable and level headed people (just not enough haha) and once i had turned the last of the fanboy mafia on to ignore here in the forum, it is a much easier place to navigate and help where possible (hopefully more when i get back to creating tutorials)
