Native Access cannot download single updates

    Hi everyone,

    just wanted to update all my NI products which went fine but for two updates, Choral and Replika, where Native Access keeps telling me the update server could not be reached and I am not connected to the internet.

    Is this a temporarily problem or do I have an issue with Native Access?

    Having same issue but with different libraries. Most are fine, a few give me the same error

    Need a bump on this. I'm able to install everything via Native access except for updates to the FX plug Ins. Keep getting the server could not be reached and I am not connected to the internet.

    Seeing something similar on my end as well, almost identical fail list.

    Same problem updating my installed drives (only 4 need updates)

    Happening here as well. Same message as mentioned above (could not reach the download server). Other updates just went fine.

    I can confirm the same issue - had 11 available updates, but 5 keep failing. E. g. Replica XT or Raum was updated without any issues. In my case the following updates are failing:
    • Choral
    • Flair
    • Komplete Kontrol
    • Phasis
    • Replika
    As other updates were working and I can post here: apparently I am connected to the internet and update servers are generally available ;) but something else on NI side seems to be "broken".

    I have the same problem. I'm clearly connected to the internet. The same titles fail to update repeatedly.

    So I woke up this morning before looking at this thread and tried downloading the trouble plugins I noticed yesterday. Most all of them seem to be working now except for a few holdouts. For me, I still get the error message for: Massive 1.5.9, Vari Comp 1.4.2 and VC 2A FX 1.42. Curious what other users issues are after retrying today.

    I'm having the same problem. All products but two updated successfully. The two that didn't are "FM8" and "Replika".

    I checked network usage and found that the products that installed successfully and those that fail with the "can't connect" message are both trying to connect to IP address 23.39.27.44 (a23-39-27-44.deploy.static.akamaitechnologies.com).

    However, the ones that work are using plain HTTP (port 80), while the ones that are failing are using HTTPS (port 443).

    Did your SSL certificate expire, maybe? Or is there a way to update the product configuration to use port 80 instead of 443?

    Perhaps, but for simple users (like me.....) it should be idiot proof and just work out of the box no ? Been going on for 2 days now and getting tedious..

    • Komplete Kontrol
    • Phasis

    My bad, I meant to suggest that NI is the one with the technical issues. It looks like they have their products set up to be downloaded from two slightly different URL's. Until they fix the issue on their end, there isn't much we can do.

    I had the same issue. In my case I couldn't update Maschine 2 or Phasis. Resolved itself after a couple days.

    Be sure to try changing your default isp dns on pc or mac to google or cloudflare. Seriously.
