NA is on C drive but no space left so I need to be able to put future downloads somewhere else. I tried that from the top but nothing would read so I had to put it on C drive there are 5 plug ins I have in NA not installed because there is no space left and I cant find them if I try to put them in D drive

If Windows is like OSX then NA downloads an .ISO installer, even if it's downloaded to another drive upon installation the files temporarily go thru the OS system HD, so you need some free space to accommodate for that...

The only solution is to temporarily move things from your system HD to another one to free some space, install what you need, then move your stuff back to the system HD.

I would try to find out what's filling your system HD... Are you using a laptop or desktop?
What are you trying to install specifically?

Here is an example, I have 28Gb free in my system drive and more than 500GB on my secondary HD.
I can't install a 27GB library on the secondary drive because needs 44GB free on my system drive to perform the installation... Even though my secondary drive is set as the download location and it has plenty of space for the library. That's just how it is.

yeah My main drive C drive is filled with windows 10 programs needed and N.I stuff. when I first installed NA on this laptop I changed all the file location in the NA setting From C to D but when i opened maschine it could not locate the sounds so I tried going into the maschine preffrences and locating them and it did not work so I had to uninstall and reinstall NA back to C drive and load as many items that could fit. I have 6 items I could not fit like scarbee, drum lab, vintage organ ect.... not including the items I want to buy.

Like i said... I doesn't matter if you have 1 million free GB on D drive, you still need temporary space on your C drive to install libraries on D drive.

Up to you. Only having around 12Gb free on the system drive is absolutely not advised, most software uses the main drive for temporary backend stuff... In your shoes, I would get WinDirStat to check what's eating up your system HD, programs don't take much space at all, especially not 120gb.
Again... up to you. Good luck.

Yeah and its SDD and HDD on my old laptop I use that whats it called partion program and made is all one big drive, Tried that on this but cant combine ssd and hdd together. so If I can create enough room on C drive i can download the pack to C then move it D then delete the file thats in C and it should work?

No. Please read what I am saying carefully. I know what it's called and why it's used, I do the same for 15 years now... No one is telling you to combine drives.

You don't need to download to C, you can download to D as well as install on D but the installation process uses your C drive temporarily, so it need's some space there (C) temporarily to accommodate for the installation, after the install is done it's no longer required. Not sure how to explain it any simpler.

I figured it out I went and changed just the content location to a new folder I created in d drive and it installed it without using any c drive space and worked as soon as I opened Maschine 2, didint have to locate or anything. Thanks for your time bro!!!!!
