Yeah even if NA is open when I try to install on the second computer, I get the same error message.

OK, i just tried this and it worked for me on Windows 10 on both computers (Sorry, can't test Mac). Started download/Install on Computer 1 after download is complete and NA says "Installing" I copied the installer to my desktop from my download location. Copied the installer to a Thumb drive, and the copied it to Computer 2 Opened NA and started install...after install was complete, refreshed NA and is said it was Successfully installed. To keep things small I tested with the Elastic Thump Maschine Expansion (only 700mb). So at this point, not quite sure what the issue is with MAC, but might be due to differing OS versions or maybe you copied the file prior to it finishing the Download. Only other thing I could suggest is "Bring home the Studio Computer" and do the installs. Sorry I cant be of more help.

Pretty much everything you suggested is what I tried. The only difference I can tell is that I copied the installer (the .pkg file) BEFORE it had completed the installation process on Computer 1. This is because after NA installs the software, I can't find the installer file anymore. Native Access installs the software into my Shared folder (on my Mac, don't know where it does this on a PC). When I try and open the installer on Computer 2, I can't get anywhere due to that error message I get.

Any Mac users out there got any ideas??

well the issue is, that you have to let the installation process start and copy it during the installation process, not before it starts. Now on windows, I can force the installation process to stop by "Killing" that process. Not sure if there is similar functionality on Mac.

So basically what is happening in your situation is that you are not copying the full installer...hence the error message. And being that Uninstalling NI Apps on Mac is a cumbersome process, I understand your hesitation in just letting it install.. (windows has a built in Uninstall feature which makes it easy to do.)

Thanks for following up. I contacted NI and they sent me links to the separate installers, which works fine.

Note to anyone from NI who reads this: You REALLY should allow this as an option with Native Access!
