    Hello,
I have bought Komplete 12 Ultimate.

My problem is some products are not installing
Native Access gives me this error message "Installing (product name) failed: an error occurred while running the installer".

Products affected can be seen in the attachment image.

OK, I assumed I need some kind of a base product to be able to install those.
If so, what is it? Do I need to download some software not included with the Komplete 12 ultimate? Is it Kontact Player?
I'm very new to NI products and I have no idea...

Note: Other than the products affected by this error, I have installed everything included on my Komplete 12 Ultimate, except the "Thrill" plug-in. It is still downloading that.

    Thanks for the help.

Yes that happens sometimes just re-try one by one and if that's not working also check anti virus, with my internet security program for example I have to allow every installer and of course then also the ones downloaded and installed in background by native access.

retrying is not working... I don't have anti viruses... I'm using Mac. Ok now that is very upsetting. No other solutions?

did you ever get an answer? -- I have Mac - Komplete 12 - installed most of the instruments a while ago - just went back to try and install more - none will load...

Me too. Bought today some products. Installation of Kontakt 6 and Analog Dreams went like a charme. Than bought Scarbee Funk Guitarist downloaded and get the error message "Installation path is wrong". I looking for the *.nicnt file of the library, but there is no file. Thank you Native!!

The support center provided a solution for my problem. Look for the downloaded library *.iso file. Right click on it > Open with: Disk mounter > and double click the *.pkg file. Then re-start Native access. It showed me that my Instrument was installed successfully. Now instrument runs in Kontakt stand alone, but not in Logic Pro X as Virtual instrument.

Thank you so much for this!!!

I just purchased the Ultimate Collection and was going crazy with the hit and miss of successful install vs failed install. Your post saved me hours of frustration.

    Thank you.

Hi all, where is the downloaded library *.iso file on a MAC?

Usually the "Download" folder, or whatever folder you have established as your default download location. If all else fails, use the OS X Finder and search for *.iso

Just ran into this with Community Drive 2021, and MusicMan1000's instructions worked like a charm. Note that, if you have set a custom default download folder in Native Access on a Mac, that's where to find the dowloaded ISO or DMG file. Also, since the install won't be running through Native Access, it will try to install to the default location, not the location you set in preferences for Native Access - you can change this during the installation process.
