Hi folks, I’m hoping that someone might be able to help me with a problem. I’m trying to install Native Access on to a 2014 iMac that I have recently updated to Big Sur. the installation process all goes smoothly enough but then when I try to open the program I get nothing. The program ‘is not responding’ and I have to force close it. I have tried all the obvious things including deleting the files necessary for a clean uninstall (I found a list of these in the support section). I’m getting a little desperate now is time is running out on a job I need to do for a client and I need to use my Albion One sample library for the job. I’d be very grateful for any advice. Thanks you in advance, Toby.

    Hey Toby,
Please note that Big Sur is not yet supported, as you can read on the banner of this user forum, we advised our users not to update yet. It is still being tested. One thing you can check if that Native Access has Full Disk Access in your Mac's system preferences, under Security & Privacy.

Hey, so I have bassicly the same problem in January 2021 and I just wanted to ask, if there ist something new...
because on the support site, there ist a green tick on "native access" for compatibility with Big Sur, but it still says that its not supported yet....

    Hello,

Any news on Big Sur support?
The app (Native Access) is still not responding at launch, after a fresh install...
Do you have any date or plan for a full support?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hey Fofie,
As you can see on the Big Sur compatibility article, most of our products are now compatible. Native Access is definitely supported. If you have issues, please get in touch with my colleagues here by submitting a request : http://bit.ly/NIsupport_KKontrol

    Hi,

The first installer I downloaded (Native_Access_Installer.dmg, 40,3 Mo) seems to be an old version. Please note that this old version was sent me via email via your "Native Access page".
I saw a post on reddit.com talking about a "new version" of 47,1 Mo, so, by seeing your message I guessed I had not the up-to-date version...
I finally found a more up-to-date version of Native Access which is running fine!
I guess you need to update the link sent by email...

    Thanks a lot.

    Hello,

I applied the instructions using the above link and while I successfully actually see the Native Access GUI now I wanted to leave information for he community about my experience.

For Mac users... pay attention to this as it was posted at the BOTTOM of the list and not the top.
    • "Note: The User Library is a hidden folder on macOS. To access it, click Go in the Finder menu bar and press down the Alt key. The Library entry will now appear in the menu."
    • Not all of the files listed applied to my experience with Big Sur OS 11.2.3....no "Launch Daemons" exist for my experience.
I hope this helps save someone time.

    Hi all,

I'm having this exact same issue. I've done a fresh install of macOS Big Sur recently (currently on 11.4), and while the NI app loads and sits in the dock, it's showing as 'not responding'. Downloaded the installer from the site yesterday, so assume it's the latest.

I've tried uninstalling and blowing away all the files as mentioned here: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000994049

Still not loading. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
