I think it might be referring to your Operating System needing you to authorize changes to your computer. If you minimize that window, you might find another dialog box where you can enter you password as you do anytime you install new programs.

If you're using MacOS Big Sur or a Mac with the new M1 Chip, you can find more information about that here:

    https://support.native-instruments....605.1859229523.1606924426-20175943.1590848465

If that doesn't answer your question, you might want to include which OS you're using and which model of computer so someone can give you a better answer.

I haven't used a Mac for a while, but I remember something like this happening. Is there maybe something in the dock asking for authorization? Or in the Apps/launcher?

Otherwise, sorry - hope someone comes along quick to help!

    Doesn't work for me.

    Running Mac OS 10.15.7
There is no "LaunchDaemons" Folder in Mac OS/Library.
A folder called "Privilegedhelpertools" cannot be found too.
    Only an exec called "LaunchDaemons".

Followed instructions without deleting that 4 files.
After restarting -> new installed -> same situation.

Terminal trick returned "Not a directory".
Finder cannot find a file called "com.native-instruments.NativeAccess.Helper2.plist"

    There are no hidden files.

I also tried "system/library/LaunchDeamons/"-> there are only system files (apple)

    Need Help

    Hi! I found a solution?

Now I had problems with Toontrack, too.
System is fresh installed yesterday on a formatted system…No Firewall or Virusscan etc. installed.

    Solution:

I gave them both “administrator rights”
    Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Accessibility
    Added both Apps

That worked for me. Curiously, it is still working after deleting permissions.

I honestly created an account JUST so I could log on and say "thank you" . This absolutely solved the issue for me (Running 10.15.7 as well). What made you try that rabbit hole I do not know but I cannot thank you enough. Most sincere gratitude, chad.
