I’m getting this all of a sudden when I try to update in native access. Anybody know why? Or how I can fix this problem?

I fail to understand what the problem is supposed to be?

Every time I hit update.. it says “download failed: could not write to the temp directory” I’m not sure why? I haven’t changed anything. Never seen this before.

    If you running Win.
Uninstall the software you want to reinstall with the uninstaller,
and reinstall that software with NA.
    --------
And if you have time to spare, fill in your footnote.
    Which OS?
    Which version?

Well I don’t know if that will fix my issue though. It started with guitar rig not updating.. so I assumed it was an issue with guitar rig. Now kontact also needs and update, and it’s saying the same thing for kontact. “Could not write to temp directory” I’m using windows

You can get this message if there is not enough space left on the C drive.
If you have multiple hard drives in your system,
you can specify in NA preferences that the download and extract should be done on another drive.

Thanks man... that’s probably it.. I have multiple drives but I left all the settings in default, so I’m guessing the c drive is probably just full.. thanks for you constant help. I’ll let ya know if that fixed it when I get home bro! ✊

Well it’s not my storage.. I have plenty of space. I’m not sure why this is happening. Never had this issue before and I’m not the most computer savvy person, I have no idea what to do

Create a folder on your D: drive called.
    NA download.
    Open NA and select Preferences.
Browse at download location to the NA download folder.
Select this folder and click O.K.
You should now see D: / NA download under download location.
If so, click on SAVE now.

    Now install the software.
    Is it working now?
