Hip hop? You do know the folks at these types of events do not necessarily use all the gear of the show's sponsor? Not trying to put anyone on blast so I won't say names. But I seen a NI workshop last year with a well known producer. He didn't know the product very well and kept looking at the NI rep.

No, it's "special future techniques", as in techniques for a special future (one that does not involve mute/solo automation, advanced sequencer or audio recording features).

 

Yes these are producers in that genre that make music for a living. They are not concerned with who wins between akai vs NI. One of my favorite producers in the team the freshmen. Sonny Digital is a core FL Studio user. He is learning maschine I believe. Just Blaze can just make beats on anything and slay any sample producer on logic, maschine, or mpc ren. Mike has a musical background as a piano player. He is a big maschine user. The Freshmen sequence in maschine and mix in pro tools or export files and use logic. Metro Boomin was in those mpc studio promo's, but he uses FL Studio mostly. I know because I've seen him at patchwerk in Atlanta several times.
