I am working on a theme and having an issue I haven't before. Damage comes in strong, but slowly gets quieter as the piece progresses. I have no automation, no compression, or anything that in my mind would keep it from staying the same volume. By the end of the song, the drums are so low and I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

Drums come in about :34 seconds in, and at about :52 seconds you can hear a significant drop in volume.

here is the work in progress.

Spurious CC7 events in the track, perhaps?

Well, I don't have any of the knobs/sliders on my keyboard assigned to anything, so if that's what that means, I think it must be something else.

If this helps clear up what is going on. If I copy and paste a region of Damage from early in the songs to later in the song, the volume changes. No sliders, velocity or Kontact values change, but the volume very noticeably drops on the same track.

Okay, so I went to Kontakt and Reset the Output Section, then did a batch function to reset output for each channel. That got rid of whatever funky volume issues it was causing on that track.
