Need help from you guys! maschine software help

HEY!

Sorry if i sound like an idiot but help a brother out if you can!

I just brought a second hand maschine mk1 which came with all software original box and serial code for the product.
The guy i brought it for is de-registering it as we speak, just waiting on confirmation

I got it out of the box and tried to get everything installed to get ahead of time but ive come across a problem. I put the Installation cd in my mac running 10.9.3 which i checked an everything is compatible for that version.
So i put the cd in and everything came up fine but when i clicked into the cd it only shows a folder labeled documents which just has instal guide etc and no actual install starter.

Is it because it hasn't been fully de-registering yet. If i wait till its not registered to the other guy will it show up on the CD? am i doing something wrong?

Would love you guys help in sorting this out!

 

Refering to the dvdcase you have to go to native-instruments.com/setup-maschine2 make account/login and grab the file from there.
You can do right now, serial is nded on a later point.

 

Don't you have to upgrade to maschine 2.0 which cost money and will be a different serial number?

 

I don't know what's wrong, but it definitely doesn't have anything to do with whether it's registered, etc. When you bought the MK1s brand new, you didn't even have a chance to register the software until after you installed it. (I think things are a little different with the newer Maschines.)

Does your disc say "Maschine Installation Disc" on it? That's what my MK1 came with.

 

Hm, did not saw the MK1 in your post.
Maybe http://www.native-instruments.com/setup-maschine will work?

 

That disk sounds weird. But if you eventually register the Maschine software you will be able to download the mk 1 installer. Some early DVDs, the mac installer doesn't work anyway - that happened to me & I had to download it.
