Need Help Removing Vendor Tag

last time i asked this, someone smarted off,i checked them and got banned. so i would like to avoid this situation again..lol

THE QUESTION- How do i remove the vendor tags from my user library? i got a bunch of soundpacks that are under different vendors and i just want them all in one place. how do i delete those other vendors.Thanks for your help.

 

Are you asking how to delete the list of Vendors or how to select/create a new vendor for all presets?

 

Select files, press EDIT, remove tags, press APPLY. It just works as long files aren´t write-protected. On protected files u need 2 remove the protection in OS-Browser first. But my recommendation is 2 tag userpack-files with the packs filename, so they appear in the browser under the packs name and u´ll find them easy.

 

IMPORTANT! I forgot 2 mention 1 thing: TAGGED FILES COULD BE MISSED in your projects and u have 2 reload them manually. SO TAKE CARE.

 

how to delete the vendors

 

im not seeing any way to delete them. so i have a sample that when i pull it up and go to properties it will say bbs for example. i go in and erase the bbs in the properties and press apply, but when i click it again it will say bbs in the properties like i never did anything..

 

You´re right. Mark the text and press the spacebar instead of deleting and then apply, it should solve the prob.
