I am running windows and need to know how to use the headphone cueing in traktor. I am planning to run one off my internal card and i bought another card (creative X-Fi) that is another single channel card that runs out of the usb. is it possible to use the internal for the speakers and the other one for the headphones or maybe the other way around. I got this because im using basic speakers that just use a headphone jack plug in so i plug the headphones to the computer and the speakers to the soundcard connected to the usb now i need the setup.

    thanks. :D

yes, ASIO4ALL will work, i do exactly the same here at home, with the same soundcards, realtek HD and Xfi GO. The program is build so that it looks as a soundcard for ANY producer/DJ/audio using program (even teamspeak). It emulates an ultra-low latency soundcard, and let you choose of the in's and out's of all your connected sound cards.

    1) Down the program, its free
    2) in installwizard, make sure to check a box named "off-line settings"
    3) after install, go to your windows tab, all programs, ASIO4ALL v2, offline settings.
    4) now there is a small button at the right below, right of the diamond. Don't now how its called in english, but in dutch "engelse sleutel". Anywayn if you mouse over there, it says advanced. click that button.
    5) now you can choose the in and outs of every soundcard, first by clicking the collapse button in front of the name of the card, and then by clicking on the "power" symbol in front of te name of the card. Blue means On. Make sure EVERYTHING (all soundcards) are BLUE.
    6) after you've done that, close the program.
    7) load traktor
    8) in traktor, preferences, audio setup, choose ASIO4ALL as your soundcard.
    9) Now, in output and input routing, you can choose of both of the cards in and outs.

I'm very happy to hear your problem is solved, however, can you tell why it wouldn't go active the first time you tried? I've got few people redirected here to my explanation of ASIO4ALL. =)
