Two days ago, I bought the Traktor Scratch Pro and one Toshiba Satelite Laptop only to run the program. I installed everything correctly and ,at the moment of trying it , and the problems started. At the moment of playing a track , a weard noise starts ( similar to a crash noise) at the same time that of the music, and also, the CPU Meter turns in red light and the music dropout constantly. I want to know if there is a way to fix it, if its possible , or if I should turn back the program to the store.
    Can someone Help Me?

You need to post more specs to get help mate. How much RAM do you have? Have you optimised your system? What other programs are you running in the system tray etc?

    Hi

    Same problem as you.
I have Toshiba Satellite A300D-11S (AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processor 1,90 GHz and 3,00 GB RAM, Windows Vista Basic 32-bit).
When I use a Traktor 3 or Traktor Scratch everthing works great.
But in Traktor Scratch Pro i have a problem (At the moment of playing a track , a weard noise starts ( similar to a crash noise) at the same time that of the music, and also, the CPU Meter jumps up and down.)I shut down everything and run only Traktor scrarch pro. My CPU is from 15% to 30%. And the noise start and disappear.

Someone have some idea what is wrong.

I use Audio 8 from Nativ instruments (Sample rate is 44100KHz and Audio latency is 10.0 ms)
I try with sound card that is in my laptop but is the same.

    Ok, I hear about Toshiba.
But why Traktor 3 & Traktor Scratch work great at same CPU as like in Traktor Scratch Pro (15% to 30%) and i can be on internet or run Ableton 7 but Traktor 3 still work even the CPU jump to 80%.

did you try to switch over to standard-pc mode instead of acpi in system settings?

you can try this out, but be aware of the following:

as sometimes just switching brought me more problems then solving issues, i used to install windows xp in standard-pc mode from the scratch, before installing traktor on my toshiba. but in standard-pc mode, traktor was running like a bliss for 5 years on the same machine :)

but as this was needed and possible on my old toshiba and as i would guess that you are using vista, i don`t know whether this option is still available in vista and if your toshiba can only handle acpi. you have to figure this out by yourself.
