So i guess i will be spending my evening with a 6pack and trying to map my apc40 to t2 :)

already started and i can't figure out how to route to record samples.
Im using my djm2k as external mixer with my audio8 card, traktor deck 1 and 2 are set on channel 3 and 4 on the mixer and sampledecks c and d are set to channel 1 and 4 on the mixer.

So to my first question, how to i route the inputs/outputs to be able to record from ext?

I tried to connect the rec out from the mixer to input on channel d and set that as ext but the sound is all weird.

    Anyone?

ok the weird sound was because it was overdubbed, but yet the volume on the recorded samples are far to low :(

My output from the mixer is at 0 db, peaking at 2 db, yet the recorded samples are at most -5 db..

yeah, i had the same problem. the problem is that you cant turn the input of your audio8 higher... i solved it by connect the "monitor out" with your input on your audio8. so you can now control your output volume from your mixer (monitor volume) and you can get it louder..

other solution: if your are only want to record loops for using it later on in your djset and not while youre playing live, you can switch to internal mode in TP2. now you can record loops directly from your internal audio signal and control your volume with the dry/wet poti in TP2. in my opinion this is the best way to get the highest quality loops...
