    Hello to you all,

I am dj with years of Serato background and before that coming from CDs and also using other sound cards.
Support is really impotent to me because at times when you spent good amount of money on product you should have to keep spending money or having to worry about it.

I use macbook for my live djing and have copy on my home desktop (PC) for editing and preparing things. today i try to install traktor 2.6.1 and it tells me I have to have windows 7 or higher! yes I know it is on the spec page. BUT that is not my point....
my point is I have had use XP for years both serato and also recently with traktor and it has been proven to be quite stable.

My question today is NI going to keep all the loyal customer in mind and keep everyone under their support or people have to "keep up" with "it is what it is" and spend more money?

My computer is not the newest but works realllly well with XP and also am thinking just bought a new Maschine (original MK1) and soon I have to worry about that not working either?
***edit: I just try to install updated service center! same problem!***

Is anyone else out there feel the same? Please make a comment!

PS. to note also! so far I been happy. Sold my serato, bought kontrol s4, kontrol x1, maschine, denon 1600 for traktor support and also DJM T1 (to go with cdj setup)

Why would they support outdated technology? XP is how old now? Just because MICROSOFT made lousy products doesn't mean Native Instruments should work on 10 year old operating systems. Update to 7 and you'll be fine for several more years.

Yeap Windows 7 is fine. Less space in Hard Drive and stable too. You should update ;)

True! but took 10years to filter out all the bugs and make it as stable as possible.

Windows 7 is a very stable OS and is much more secure than XP.

8 is also great if you can look past the Metro UI.
