Need to copy 2nd half of an 8-bar MIDI phrase onto 1st half...how?

I recorded an eight-bar percussion loop on one of my sound slots. The timing of the first 4 bars is wonky, but the second 4 are PERFECT. I need to copy the second 4 bars and replace the first 4, but retain EXACT timing. In Pro Tools I would simply copy the 4 bars on the grid and paste them over, but I am having a difficult time figuring this out in Maschine. All I am able to do so far is select the individual notes of the second 4 bars, and then drag them over, where they either snap to the grid (unacceptable) or I have to approximate the location visually and nudge accordingly (arguably a workaround but not a good system in my book). What am I missing?

I just did a quick check in the user manual and I don't see an option for what you want to do. Maybe sowari knows a way, but I don't see it.

I'd use the mouse and highlight the first 4 bars, delete it, highlight the second 4 bars, set the grid to 1 bar, and nudge right 2 times.

^ BOOM! Common sense wins. I think I've gotten so used to quick fixes, and DAWs being able to do just about anything (not really true but you know what I mean) that sometimes I forget about good, old-fashioned ingenuity.

Thanks Typhy. You, sir, are a champ.

I haven't figured it out yet either, would like to. So far I add a note or find one that can be set on the grid perfectly without ruining it, and then highlight everything and move it over with that note. That note will be what is uses to snap to grid, so as long as it is already on there it doesn't mess things up.
