I'm getting event loop errors on my main computer, but the same ensemble works fine on my laptop. I think I have an midi loop, but not sure what's creating it.

So far I have disconnected the midi hardware, turned off other midi apps, and turned off midi ins and outs in Reaktor's midi setup. But I still get event loops.

Any recommendations of where to look next?

Probably a silly question, but do you have "allow event loops" enabled on your laptop but not on your desktop under Reaktor preferences?

Other than that, are you using stand-alone, plug-in? Can you upload the .ens for us to check?

Thanks Moujik. Seems to work fine now. I think I misunderstood what "globally disable event loops" actually did.

The manual recommends globally disabling event loops for stability, so I'm still a little confused, but at least it's working.

That's not good if you have event loops. Try to post your ensemble here or at least part of that ensemble, that does event looping. You can always avoid event looping.

I think some of the old v4 factory ensembles require event loops to be enabled.
