Hey guys thought I would try Traktor on my Netbook for a giggle and the funny thing is I can make work and its quite stable, how ever because the screen is so small the import and export tabs sit below the screen.

Is there any other way to import the mapping, I guess not I have had a few other problems with other programs being tabs being off the screen tried resizing it, though it would be a cool back up to have in the car seeing as it was real cheap.

Anyway thought I would ask just in case I have over looked something.

Edit: if I hook it up to a normal monitor will I see a full screen ?

    An external monitor will help...

If you plug in a second monitor you should be able to use the full resolution of the new monitor.

You should be able to drag Traktor to the second screen and work there.

Whether you can boot up the netbook and use ONLY the second monitor at full res is something you will have to experiment with. You probably can do it but it might depend on the graphics built into your netbook and the drivers for the graphics.

One wonders whether the netbook would have the performance ability to be able to actually keep up with a reasonably good-at-Traktor DJ during a real set? I'd be willing to bet that with some of them, the internal disk wouldn't go fast enough to keep up with the demands.
