New Computer, Migrated songs do not recognize Kontakt

Hi All--

I just got a new computer for XMas thanks to a generous wifey and installed fresh versions of Cakewalk, existing song files (by copying the Cakewalk Projects folder) and all plugins. After a few days most are working except Kontakt, in a specific instance.

Specifically--when I call up a migrated song, the tracks that used Kontakt (release 6) do not load the Kontakt instrument. It is still an instrument track and I see the midi information, but doesn't connect with Kontakt. I can usually hit the little keyboard icon (in the track in the upper left hand part of the track next to the track number) to call up the instrument, but when I click it nothing happens.

Weird thing is, when I create a new instrument track in that same migrated project, Kontakt works perfectly.

I am sure that I am scanning the right vst Kontakt folder: c:\program files\cakewalk\vst plugins.

I wonder if there is a file that links Kontakt tracks with the program, and that did not make the migration?

Any thoughts on what the heck is going on?
