Is there anyone from NI that can chime in on what and when we can expect this library update..... like with maybe a list of the new kits or whatever.

If Maschine had velocity sensitive acoustic drums ala BFD2 or the like that would be incredible.

Many of you will be pleased with the library update because it will indeed contain drums kits from Abbey Road 60s Drums as well as electric basses from Scarbee! I hope I can post the full list sometime soon.

The 60s Drums material in Maschine 1.5 will not have all the details and features because of the different engine alone, so it still makes a lot of sense to have the full product.

 

I hope it has some vintage SP1200 drums and some vintage MPC 60 drums to go along with the emulation add-on.

 

More bass sounds and more "sound effects", mostly some interesting bass sounds

 

please tell me that the Abbey Road 70's drums are also in that library update so that i can start freaking out

 

a maschine version of abby roads drums is indeed planned when the update officially launch's

Any chance that registered users will be able to download and install the new library content independently of upgrading? Perhaps I should explain what I mean here... I can't upgrade to 1.5 because I'm on Tiger, which I plan to keep until I get a new Mac with Snow Leopard, or whatever is out at that time. However, I would still like to get the new sounds if at all possible...

P.S. I know Native Instruments has worked with the Dutch techno artist Speedy J. a few times in the past, and I think a Speedy J. Maschine kit would be a great addition to the (already formidable) Artists Kits in Maschine.

 

My guess would be no. Why? Because the new kits will probably be saved in 1.5 from the beginning and use the 1.5 features; you'd get a prompt saying that the content was made with a newer version.

However, I could be wrong...

more classic tones and wavforms, and they need to put a gang of classic synths sounds I'm talkin moogs, arps, prophets, the cs80, basicly they should put in everything that aturia has put into analog factory and they should make'em with effects if needed for a paticular sound but for the most part no effects , but definitely please Ni drop in all the classic korg roland synths, arps, moogs, sequences, and arpegios
