Hmmmmm, was willing to sell my audio 8 and cables records etc as I've just bought a scratch certified Zero 4 so just wanted to keep the software license. The real question , for me anyhow, is how am I going to convince the missus that I need to spend more money on "boys toys" as she calls them? I'm all starry eyed at the thought of new traktor lovelyness, she remains less than convinced! Ah well I'm sure I'll think of something! Roll on Nov 1st!

On another note, why is it that whenever NI announce something new, most people round here start moaning? I'm not paying for something thats new and better! It doesn't make me a cup of tea, can I scratch my back/fly NASA rockets with it? Jeeze!

I am very happy with the new announcement, yes I'll have to pay for it, but I want to stay at the top of the Digital DJ game and would expect nothing less! Well done NI and keep up the good work!

You don't have a separate bank account? For shame. Just buy it, she can't stay mad forever. Or do like me and hide it then say "you just don't remember what Traktor looks like babe, this is the same one".

Because everyone who has a problem with Traktor EVER feels that NI owes them money and/or free stuff. And as history has shown, if they play in front of 20 or 20000 people, they feel just as self-important. To all of them I say, stop posting "screw this I'm buying Serato, you're never getting any more of my time or money NI". Because you're still giving NI your time by hanging out in these forums bitching. Go bitch at the Serato people. And enjoy the bugs that will result when they and Ableton start having wicked DVS sex. Because no matter HOW good the development team, testers, and intentions, you WILL have bugs. Face it. Software = bugs. People are stupid.

    Give me your soul.

My soul? I'll swap ya for some DJ goodies?

I seriously think some people just like to complain, gives them something to take their mind off the fact that no matter how many DJ programmes and devices they have they still can't mix!

"Traktor sucks cause it doesn't do the whole mix for me! You mean I still have to push a button? Fuqq you NI! I'm buying Serato!

ps...I will continue to post on here about how much I hate Traktor, even after I buy Serato. I am that much of a tool"

I will get Traktor Scratch Pro anyways..
But does it mean that if I owned Traktor Pro, I could upgrade to Traktor Scratch Pro by just buying the Audio 8 DJ interface or a certified mixer to get timecode ability?

There is an Upgrade path from Traktor Pro to Scratch Pro that provides you with all needed hardware and software / licenses keys.
