    NI Forum:

I"ve been using Traktor and DJing on my MacBook. I use iTunes to organize my music. When I turn on the new iMac, I will load my latest backup from the MacBook which will put everything on the iMac. Going forward, when I buy music on the new iMac, drop it in Mixed In Key, then into iTunes. I'll beatgrid it, cuepoint it, and so on, How will I keep it all together on both computers?

I'm wondering if the migration assistant on all Macs will do the trick. It appears some use online file sync systems. What do you guys do?

You simply want to move everything from your old mac to the new and stop using the old or start using both?

I already have moved everything to the new iMac. I use iTunes to organize my music for Traktor. So I buy a song, analyze it in Mixed in Key, then drop into iTunes. Then I open Traktor, analyze it there, beatgrid, and add cuepoints.

I still want to use my MacBook though. Traveling, chilling in bed, or performing. I know I can just make copies of all this stuff on external hard drives, and just copy over the old stuff from time to time.

I'm just wondering what other people do. Most have recommended a file sync service like Dropbox or Sugar Sync.
