New Installers Are Here!

While logging into my NI account in order to register for the 15 Year promo, I just so happened to swing by the Support area and lo and behold, three new installers (Razor, GDST and The Mouth) were all available. They are each about 10-13 MB in size.

I can now browse through the presets of all three of the above products in Maschine. Finally! If you've been waiting like I have, check in the non-free download section of the Support page.

To emphasize, these are the updated installers for the folks who do NOT own Komplete 8 and are only using the Kontakt and Reaktor standalone players.

We're pretty much releasing new updates every day now, the following will be released in the very near future:

- Alicia's Keys
- Scarbee Funk Guitarist


Then next up are:

- Session Strings Pro
- Evolve Mutations 2

 

I'll get errors when I try to load the sounds from razor or spark onto a pad...

Started them before in Reaktor standalone, soundbank in MAschine was updated in standalone afterwards, now the errors in standalone come up...?

When I click on Reaktor in Maschine an old Version of Reaktor 5.15 is coming up... ?

Got it... in my VST folder was another folder called "NI" with lots of old versions... deleted.. now it loads the new plug-in versions...

 

Ok, am i being really blind here. I can find the update for Razor but where are all the others? I can't see them on the update page of this website and my service center isn't showing any updates at all!

Anyone else getting this?

 

You don't get the updates through the service center as it seems...

you have to download them from the NI website from the downloads page - protected downloads (product updates) - log in and then you will see all your available downloads for your registered products only...

But I wonder where the PRISM update is, because it was part of komplete 7 it does not show up in my list as a seperate update... ?

 

I have installed Razor and The Mouth, but the browser only locates Razor. I have installed the mouth twice but no joy.

Also was there any announcement from Ni about the installers? I'm sure I check every day...nay hour for news on the installers and we find them by someone else's chance. Odd! maybe I missed it :s

 

Well i've got "Prism", "Spark" and "The Finger" as part of Komplete 7 and apparently there is supposed to be updates for these instruments, but i can't find them. (Or do you have to upgrade to Komplete 8 to eligible for them?)

 

I can see them in the service centre under 'Content Downloads and Updates', all from October this year.

You find Razor in "Instruments" tab and "the mouth" in the "FX" tab...


There was no mailing or other big announcement, I just by hazard found teh entry by Keir reporting about the new updates...

but no word about where to get them after beeing used to get all updates through the service center it is a bit crazy that these updates are available the old way...

I guess they have too much work by promoting the new stuff like "damage" and "true school" ;-)

The only guy we can count on in here is Keir...

I got it in Komplete 8, so I don't think I downloaded the update. It's in my Maschine browser.

 

with all that's going on with NI I pretty much run the Service Center once a day to let it check.
Takes a few seconds and keeps you current.

 

I have the free Prism and Spark and the Product update page has no updates for those in my account. Anywhere else I can get them?

 

The Service Center is where you should look for updates.
