Words cannot even begin to describe my sincerest thank you for all your fantastic and innovative work over the years. Same goes for masterminds like Mike Daliot and Brian Clevinger.

Stuff like this keeps my faith in 'the future of sound' imo.

 

A big thank you for the brain trust at NI! I don't know how you do it but you keep coming up with compelling instruments. My introduction to the world of NI was Electronic Instruments 2 back in 2004! And now I am Komplete!

 

I just cannot get Skanner to install. I've downloaded two different copies, and the every time I run the installer, the Skanner Library icon has a red X on it. Every other NI product has installed with no issues on this machine. Has anyone else seen this?

I forgot to mention - I cannot change the status of the icon. It does not respond to mouse clicks.

I'm on 5.6.2, OSX 10.7 and i cannot get access to the sample map. All options are greyed out. Any idea or am i just to blinded by the christmas lights...?

Skanner keeps flicking between presets very rapidly ( In Maschine/VST/Reaktor Player/Mac OSX)

Making it impossible to edit...

When you installed it, was the Skanner Libraries icon X'd out in the installer?

Everything went without a hitch. Even fixed a minor niggle I was having with razor (yeah, software is weird)

 

Another fine free email gift from NI for Xmas?....Geee...so how come when I go to the link there's no download for the "free" Skanner?
Where is it?....how stupid...you guys have a website like a puzzle...howe f***in stupid!
I went all over the place back and forth on the NI site and even logged into my account to see if I could get this free Skanker and finally I realized how stupid it is to have to figure out how to get a stupid free plugin from NI and how stupid it is to waste my time trying to figure out your stupid website....
And another e-voucher....yeah like I'm gonna fall for that crap again...

NI PLEASE READ!

When I got my "DL" link, I couldn't see it either. For whatever reason, there is no scroll on that window and the DL link is below where you can move your mouse. I was just barely able to see a hint of blue with a maximized screen (1920x1200 23") and got lucky. I had forgot till now so forgive.

 

i am amazed by the sound of this thing.

it's nice to know that even with all of the incredible & diverse innovations that have occurred in recent years in the realm of digital audio, there are still new sonic horizons to discover.
