Posting this thread as I'm new to Native Instruments, just installed Komplete Start recently and along w/getting familiar w/putting drum tracks together ITB generally, trying to get a sense of how the workflow I'm getting started with works in the drum track-related Komplete Start bundle options I've installed-Kontakt Player/Factory Library Selection,Komplete Kontrol/Expansions Selection.....

Looking for info about using these w/a drum VSTi(i.e.Jamstix 4/SSD 5.5)that allows for the individual kit components to be recorded on separate MIDI tracks using multiple outputs, and then using these MIDI tracks as the basis for setting up a given one-shot sample w/the Native Instruments options,i.e.for the kick MIDI track, using whatever workflow is involved so a given Expansions Selection kick one-shot can be used for this....

I'm assuming based on the way the MIDI controller keyboard is shown used in conjunction w/this in the videos I've checked out that a similar process would be involved, however as of yet haven't gotten a clear sense of things...

Wondering if by setting up the Native Instruments VSTi on an instrument track in the DAW that also has the related MIDI track on it and having the given one-shot selected,double-clicking on it in Komplete Kontrol so it shows up on the right in the sampler and then hitting play in the DAW I'll be able to get the result I'm after where this one-shot will play using the MIDI file info or if a more complicated workflow is involved....and similarly how the Kontakt Player Factory Library Selection options would work in terms of this .....

Appreciate people's take on this stuff...
