new mac and it wont coonect to my xone 4d

    hello

    i have just got a mac and installed zone 4d as a surprise for my gf. tp all installed ok, i have now installed the xone4d driver etc then connected it to my mac and it isnt picking it up, has anyone any ideas on what to do, im new to the mac so im not sure what to do next

    the mixer works fine so does the mac book pro it just wont connect the 4d

    What version OS are you running? Can you see the Xone 4D in the Audio and Midi setup? If not get the latest drivers from Allen and Heath

    Sometimes when i started my xone 4d my mac would not "pick it up" either but this was because the xone 4d did not boot up like its suppose to. The 4d booted up without the LPF, BPF, HPF lighting up and i had to restart it a few times and then it worked. Dunno if this only happens to me but if the LPF, HPF and BPF dont blink it means the xone 4d hasnt booted up correctly and therefore my mac cudnt pick it up. Have you tried your 4d with other computers?
