New mac laptop

i am on a g4 /500/dual and live : an old pismo g3/400

well, that g4 that will run on 1.4ghz is not the current one.. which only can go to 1.2 top speed afaik..

maybe a newer series..? I will have a look at the motorola site.. but my trust in them falls down more steep every day.. decending..

 

i know, i'm frustrated too... that's interesting about the limit of 1.2.... didn't know that!

so, if they up it, it would be different but i'd like to see apple move to a deal w/ AMD for a new chip. yeah, and monkeys might fly out my butt!!

well its maybe possible to push it up to 1.3 or 1.4 max. i have heard of motorola making some g4 models,that may go up a little bit...

well, its not that bad,
maybe they put out a 1.4 model (g4) to have some sort of "acsending" line till the g5 is there..

I would still like a mac.. but atm the prices are not that attractive..
