    Hello folks.

Today I got a Mac Mini, this was to replace an old MacBook.

I have installed Massive via NI Access, and it seems to work. I then tried to install NI Grandeur, and no matter what I try, it doesn't seem to show up as a VST in Ableton, I have rescanned for new VST'S, I have uninstalled it, then reinstalled it, and nothing. It's hugely frustrating as Grandeur is the basis of what I want to be doing/using.

I am a bit at a loss, is it that Grandeur may simply not be compatible with M1?

Thanks folks, hope someone can help out. Cheers.

    Hey Clavikal,
The Grandeur is not a plug-in, it is a Kontakt library, you need to have Kontakt installed on your computer, load it as a VST instrument, then choose The Grandeur.

Then, if you read our posts regarding M1 support, you will see that, although we made it possible to authorize the products with Native Access, our products are not officially supported on M1 processors, and also on Big Sur :

Thanks for the response, and I am a bit embarrassed. I knew it was kontakt Library and completely forgot!

But are you saying that even if I had Kontakt Library I still would not be able to use Grandeur at the moment?

    Thanks again

Kontakt might work, users reported it working, it's just it is not officially supported yet, there are still some tests and work to do.

Hey. I can confirm that Kontakt works fine for me on my MB Air under Big Sur and the M1 Chip. Also works with Kontakt Library instruments. I have not tried Grandeur yet. But should work just fine.

Hi there! I have just done a fresh Ableton live 10 install on an M1 Mac and also installed NI Kontakt including Native Acess etc, the same way i had done in my old Intel Mac before. Ableton seems to work fine bit it can't see Kontakt from Ableton, the VST folder shows empty. Did you do anythihg differently when installing Kontakt? Thank you!!

make sure to set the live prefs to use either audio units and/or vst and then set the path to the folder.
