So this is one of the main things I have been working on for a while now. Its a maschine expansion that essentially treats maschine as a Kind of Kontakt/ alchemy/ omnisphere type product. I have created 256 new sounds using deep multi sampling and Maschine's FX and modulation. I did a video and write up on it here http://fluxwithit.com/2013/10/12/maschinestrument-vol-1-has-released-check-out-the-video/

It took a lot of hard work to get it done but I think it shows.

So if you wondered what multisampled instruments that really take advantage of maschines internal power can be. check it out. :)

Any pros/cons in using this 1.8.2 then migrating to 2.0 on release day?

What the hell? I went to check it out and it cost $$$!!!! It should be at least half that price, however, it's more than a Native Instruments authentic expansion made from professionals! No offense, but come on man.

It says it works with 2.0, but it's not even out so how could the developer know?

if 25c per patch seems high to you the easy answer is to make your own.

I pride my self in releasing well priced expansions and sound packs. Considering the time and effort put into this expansion pack and the level of detail I put into it to make sure it uses every ounce of what maschine can do. I am very happy with the price point. If I had released this as a Kontact instrument (which I had Considered) relatively speaking it would have probably been closer to $200. (and it also would have taken far less time to make). I had a vision that I wanted to make this product something very useful for the Maschine Users. So those who have maschine but not a full version of kontakt can get the same level of sound as a quality kontakt instrument. I also would point out the sheer size of my expansion in relation to official NI expansions. Coming in over 6gigs makes maschinestrument Vol 1 roughly 12 times larger than many official NI expansions. I am sorry if that price point doesn't appeal to you but I am confident the value is there. (for what it's worth there is a 20% off Sale this weekend)
Yes it works in 2.0 perfectly. Pros vs cons to using it and migrating.... Well the pro is that you get to start using it now. The con to not migrating it. Would be that you wouldn't get to use it now. Lol. There is no draw backs ;)

Flux, where is the 20% off sale. Just checked the big fish site, didn't see it. Would like to pick it up on sale, if possible.

I am gonna upload a screen capture showing some of the presets in just a bit it's a 15 min long look at it. So you should be able to get a good idea of the sounds

lol...this guy! Luckily for you, you don't have to buy it. You get what you pay for sir. This is on par with a Kontakt library IMO, at a fraction of the cost, and without having to have Kontakt.

I purchased this earlier today, and their are 3 separate downloads. After extracting them into one main folder I did as the install instructions stated, but I still do not see them even though I scanned the proper folder. Can these samples be put on an external drive or do they need to be installed on the main Mac drive?

Just as a heads up. anyone who has any issues please don't hesitate to contact me. I stand behind my products. Unfortunately there was a change to the file that the distributor performed on the compressed file that may make the install more confusing than intended. I am working with them right now to get that corrected ASAP. if you have already downloaded and would like to know further detail on how the RAR extraction process works please email me. (its less complicated than it appears). Thanks for Understanding :)
