Can anyone tell me if the effects are up to much?
I'm not so bothered by the quality of the samples as-is as I tend to want to sculpt my own sound out but I see in the blurb that there are new FX in the Transistor pack which piqued my interests....

 

they are very good, i really recommend them!

this might be a stupid ?. but im a new maschine user and im wanna know if you can use komplete 7 with maschine?

 

when you say new, do you mean a multifx chain or a new fx module aka a new plugin fx?

 

Anything of particular stand-out?
There are some audio demo's on the site but I don't think they do it too much justice.
One of my main intended future-uses for Maschine is an EF controller and if FX start to become 'native' to the unit then all the better!

Either or - are there any 'new' fx that the pack offers or are they just 'pre-sets' of the existing ones?

Either way is cool, anything that gives me a basis to work from or to fuel ideas is worthwhile, just curious if this is more than just samples...?
I can live without 'more' samples but I am keen on things that make things sound different.

 

the vintage heat pack was sooo good im going to grab transistor too

 

that fact that the fx were made by Surround SFX is enough for me. he gets below the surface and really knows his stuff. fwiw, the Grain Stretch FX are very good.

and by the way what type of extensions do you dream about ?

personaly i dream about some minimal and minimal house extentions

I would say for Minimal and House there is quite some material in the two new extensions.

 

Indeed --- lots of stuff for minimal in there; you even get patterns by Minimal House producer Martin Buttrich with Transistor Punch (who also produces loco Dice and did the Timo Maas stuff a while back).

 

I would like to have some real hip-hop machine expansion packs. With cool vynil drums, snares, orchestra samples, brass melodies, guitars usw.
