    Hi all.

    My first post here. :)

I have imaschine2 in my ipad air2. And the ipad into Focusrite itrack Dock. The itrack dock has USB native for midi controllers, now the question is, can i control de imaschine with maschine, mikro or studio?

I want to buy one, but want to know first if i would be able to control imaschine with physical unit.

Hope you could answer this question

    Thanks!

    Regards!

Yeah, big disappointment this, would love to use the Mikro as an iPad controller.

    ....reads original post...

    HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Sorry, not laughing at you. Laughing at how long this community has asked that very same question COUNTLESS times and it has fallen on deaf ears.

Hey, NI how's it feel to know your iOS offering is garbage?? BeatMaker 3 greets everyone with open arms. Come on over @Patricio Menis, you can use ANY CONTROLLER with that app. The choice is yours.

ATM there is a gap for hardware drumpad that anyone fits. M-Audio tried (and failed) with the new trigger finger pro and Akai brung Mpd232 which has some lacks... Beatstep pro neither...

Arturia has successfully done this with their SparkLe. The iMPC app works extremely well with the fly/element (after a number of bug fixes, admittedly). Sample tank (IK Multimedia) have more than one piece of hardware that work with all of their app offerings. I could go on, but I’m sure you get the point.

The correct answer is "It's not possible as is since Maschine Mk3 is only class compliant on the audio side" and "it could be possible if NI implements mfi drivers into iMaschine update" but "it will not work outside maschine if the class compliance isn't totally developed".
