Just a quick question regarding the Kore 1 Controller. I just got one off eBay, and it is mostly Ok EXCEPT for the fact that it is continually sending out MIDI controller messages (apparently controller 1, channel 1). When I move knobs and press buttons the correct MIDI messages are sent, so that seems Ok — it's just the 'extra' MIDI messages are annoying. Is there some kind of hardware reset procedure (I downloaded the latest drivers 2.60) or something I can do? Running on OS X Yosemite 10.10.4…
I hate to say it but it looks as if you have a bad one. This is a problem that seems to happen to a lot of NI gear. The pots become increasingly erratic and unusable. I had a Kore 1 unit that displayed these symptoms. I tried cleaning with compressed air and a brush but nothing worked. I eventually dumped the unit and bought another. I think some on here HAVE had some success so have a search. You may be lucky. It's a great piece of kit when working properly. Again, sorry it's not easier news.
Ah! It seems that if I turn the 'touch sens' control down, the spurious output disappears… That's great because I can now use it properly with Reaktor
Hi namke, how did you make your KORE 1 unit work as audio interface on OS X 10.10.4.? I'm trying to get it going on 10.10.5 and it seems the latest driver may not work ... so the 2.6.0. driver CAN still work?! Mine lights up briefly, shows as USB audio device but there's no connection otherwise and software that us routed through it does not output sound .... Any ideas?
