I just found this quite by chance and it is exactly what I needed as a Noob to Maschine in general, having just bought a MK3 as my first ever Maschine. Absolutely LOVE it btw. I could not find the quick start guide I had downloaded, before the manual was revised, so downloaded it again. To my delight it is now a 278 page beginners guide to Maschine in general rather than the 20 or so "plug this here and this here" original Quick start guide. One of the best features of it is a very good index at the end enabling you to find what you are looking for with ease.
    Great job NI.
    Very happy with this.
I have already found useful bits of information such as how to use the solo and mute buttons. I'm sure I will find lots more with ease.
The thing with an 800 plus page manual is knowing where to look.
    This is great.
If you are a Noob like me then get on it.

i think the complete manual is not finished as coming from mk1 to mk3, i read the manual and it has quite a bit of repetition, a few errors, and is missing some info, especially on things like the pedals input. does not give any info on what it requires or the wiring format, only that it can start, stop, and record with two footswitches.. is this supposed to mean it uses a TRS input for a dual housed pedal..... does not say.. and not all pedals work the same... i was hoping to control it from a roland boss gt100.... now roland manuals.. lol .. they are written for engineers with flowcharts and assume you already know how to use it, but just wanted the methods documented.. ..
