In case you haven't seen it... On NI's website:

    Effective 12/17/03

On 12/17/03 we launched a new registration and authorization system, which makes the process faster, clearer, and more convenient for all Native Instruments users.

    Major new features:
A new registration server is the central location for all registrations, including download management.
You will be guided through each step of the registration process, and the number of remaining steps is displayed on screen.
Your Authorization Key is now displayed on your screen immediately after successful completion of a product authorization. This means you no longer have to wait for an email.
You can now view and manage all your registrations and authorizations online, including the ability to deactivate one of your hardware profiles so that you can complete a fresh authorization on a new or reconfigured computer (Manage Registrations/Authorizations).
Your NI password is now internally encrypted so that it cannot be decrypted by Native Instruments. NI can merely see if the password you entered matches the one you saved, without actually decrypting it.

Fast and great , but I saw this .

" Please be aware that a deactivated hardware profile can
    never be authorized again. "

I wonder why they did this . There might be someone
wanting to do this . It says be careful.
But why can`t the buyer`s do anything they want ?
Its there computer and software .
Or is there a reason for this ?
And if the person contacts NI by mail ( like the old registration process ) ,can they do this ?

For example . if one person buys QLSO and install`s is to his
host computer ( with all the sequncer`s and stuff in it ) .
And bought a new computer and installed it to his new computer
and erased it from his host computer and deactivated the registration. But after wards thought , maybe I`ll just install the percussion`s to my host computer .

This is just an example . I`m just wondering why they don`t
let us do this . And is there a way to do this by contacting
    NI support ? :)
( Because it looks like NI is really reasonable and flexible with this kind of stuff. )

First of all, thank you NI for listening! I'm sure this new system will solve quite a few headaches and also shows that NI is rather efficient considering that the 'old' system had been out for only a couple of months and they listened to feedback and scrapped it that fast. Once again, thank you!

Unfortunately, Sypher brought up a very good point and it's strange that although NI listened to feedback and switched systems, they still find the need to implement this kind of strange restriction. I personally don't see the need to have this kind of restriction and is just an added inconvenience. NI, any response to this?
