I think what Randy meant was "a grand piano made by who?".

Is it Kawai!!! OMG, how can that be. It's a cheapo piano that rocks.
    Which model is it?
Are you sure Wizoo 24 and The Grand use this same piano (same brand, or type)?
Incredible, I am trading in my SS for this Japanese piece.

    ......

    the grand : a rx6 piano (Kawai)

    mine : a fine rx3

I love this Kawai Piano. New Kawai are much better than Yamaha.
However, it's my own point of you. I sell a lot of a piano, and i can choose a good Piano. That's why i've choosed a RX Kawai.

    Regards,

    Olivier

Kinda OT, but have you checked out the Shigeru Kawai series... it's Kawai's ultra-premium line. I must say that after playing them at NAMM, they are the best sounding pianos still being produced. If you haven't checked them out, it's well worth it. Of course these are million dollar pianos.......

    24 bit pianos for Kontakt

FYI, should be receiving my copy of Bardstown Audio's 24bit Bosendorfer Imperial Grand... newly built to fully take advantage of all the new features of 1.2 and DFD streaming... this week. Has four velocity layers pedal up, four layers pedal down, and a release note off layer as well. All 88 notes sampled individually.

    yes, i'm agree.

I love Shigeru Kawai. However, i love this rx piano. Each piano
have (of same model)his own sound.

    my prefered Piano (real) :

    1) Steinway model B or D
    (from Hamburg/germany - don't like the model C from new-york)
    2) Kawai Shigeru / Kawai RX
    3) Fazioli / Yamaha C7
    4) Bechstein /Hoffman / Seiler / Sauter
    5) Bosendorfer
    6) Gotrian-Steinweg
    7) Estonia
    5) Schimmel

Right on. I can't wait to hear the new piano.

Those of you who downloaded Olivier's last piano, make sure you pay him the $30 shareware as he asks! The more of us who pay, the more he'll be able to make more great pianos! And $30 is a huge bargain compared to buying any of the commercial sample CD libraries.

Unless I missed something in the MP3 demos, I don't think it needs to be rerecorded. Has good presence and the notes are liquid and full.

    Sounds very good.

Alas, I've found myself checking this site to see how this new piano is coming along, but I don't see any progress reports. Sorry to bug you. It's just such a good sounding piano that I've been looking forward to playing it. (Seems the link to the site is dead, now, too.) Hope all if going well for you. (And for that piano sample...)
