New set up query. Am I going mad?

First post on here.

I have recently just upgraded from a Mixtrack Pro to Traktor S4 control.

I have also switched for an all in one type pc to a laptop/tablet hybrid to run traktor.

Previously I routed the mixtrack pro output back to the pc and used the built in speakers to play the main output. Since having the laptop I have invested in some cheap speakers to do this job.

One thing I have noticed that didnt’ seem to happen with my old set up is that the cue monitoring through the head phones seems to play at a different pitch to the main output speakers – is this correct?

Another thing I have noticed is that when listening to the main speakers and fading in a second track the master tempo seems to speed up.

Am I going mad?
