Does anyone know if the updated software bundle available for existing users?

It's not listed in my downloads. I'll see if they're thinking about doing so.

It's a nice bundle - wish it had come with (the more expensive) KORe

    I think the answer is:
    A resounding NO.

Took away Express Keys, and it was never replaced with anything worthwhile. And I still have issues with my Combos. They won't save any new presets and allow me to close. It's too bad.

All told, I would appreciate the offer of the new bundle. I don't really need cubase or anything.

The real question is- how could you do it so it's fair to everybody- both the people who just got AK 1 and the older ones like us.

As has been stated in previous threads, Steinberg won't allow the Cubase version to be retroactive. And, to be fair, the later user would have to get Xpress Keys and Combos- neither which will run on the latest Macs.

i don't understand either. I mean products get updates doesn't mean that you should automatically get them. Think of it as a new version of something like adobe cs3-cs4 or sonar 7 to sonar 8. They don't give it to you. We bought the product knowing what we got and not in anticipation of what we could get.

    It's a tough one.

For me, I'd love to see Express keys come back. They were so simple and intuitive. However, having to switch between amps in Combos is a bit of a pain. I like the way LE looks. NI should throw in the ACBox, and it would be perfect.

I guess we'll all just have to deal with it. We wouldn't expect something like this from a company like Apple. I guess we all figure NI is a bit more friendly.

well now theres more to complain about if your on that side of the fence cause if you buy the AK1 right now you get a free synth for free like absynth or fm8. now thats a deal! I guess it feels weird for us cause there wasn't really a price adjustment when the software changed so why should it not be available as an update and new users should have the old bundle too. I'm not sure why they wouldn't do it that way but they do what they do.
