new version published in Apple store few days ago.

... the setting option to assign the transport buttons (cue, play, loop) vertically stacked on right side (similar TDJ1) feels great to me, :) THX to the NI team !

any feedback from your folks ? Did someone test already, thoughts ?

Been playing it with since release. Feels like a solid update with no reason not to update.

It won’t load, I had to delete and then rescan my whole library using 1 year old iPad Pro with 20GB free space latest iOS :(

I haven't used it much since the initial release, but have had a few mixes in the last week. Although it felt not as bad, I feel it's still a mess in comparison to the user interface & experience of TDJ 1. The pitch fader bug is a huge problem for me, and the related problem that when turning sync off on a loaded (not playing) track, the pitch doesn't return to it's original. I have to turn off sync, load another tune, then replace it with the previous. All due to me forgetting to turn off sync. TDJ 1 didn't behave like this.

I'm so torn between the two apps. TDJ 1 is an awesome app ( love the X-Y control for effects, and beatmasher) but with one missing feature - Pitch Adjustment for the old funk etc, for the Drum and bass and other stuff that beat grids nicely is not a problem, it's a treat. TDJ 2 is a messy app as mentioned above, but I can play old funk and old drifty house and ride the pitch.

But for a free app it's great once you get used to it. Still a way to go before it overtakes it's older sibling for me.

Rich3000, another way to reset pitch without reloading another track would be to turn off Sync on that track then just double tap the pitch fader in the app, should reset it to whatever the original BPM was.
