I got Dynamo working to some extent using direct connect with my Digi 001, and love it. but i have some questions:

    1. how do you change the beat loops in 6 Pack to combine different sounds? When I double click on the beat loop name and try to load in a new sound nothing changes.

    2. Can you use your keyboard controller to play the soft synths of Dynamo?

    3. Are there updatews/new sounds etc. I should be downloading from this site?

    Thanks for you help!

1 I don´t know about 001. Try right click the sample module and choose load audio.

2 Yes, check the properties of the instrument and make shure midi remote is checked.

3 Maybe you know of the "6-rev" I think thats the latest contribution to the Dynamo library. Two other ensembles came long ago, Weedwacker and Junatik.

sounds like you are adding a sound? This will put another sound in the bin of the beat loop playback engine. Try doing a load, so only one audio file is in the player. should work if you-> double click on the playback module in 6 pack and in the properties inspector chose load audio, pick the loop you want and viola! :) mute the rest of the deaks to hear that one, just so you can tell.

    drum machines in Dynamo/Reaktor ...oof

I have the same problem with all of NI's drum machines. The rest of the world seems fine with them so I must be a bleedin' idiot. How do you get any of the drum machines in Dynamo/Reaktor to work?!?!?!?!? Yeah they load audio fine, I guess (since there is no visual cues to let you know if it happened or not..) and then it just sits there. Hey, NI...a 'play' button would be nice (hee)...this is why I did not buy Battery. I downloaded the demo, installed it, opened it...now what? Hmmm, no 'play' button...OK, so what is this thing for? Do I hook a sequencer up to it and spend the next hour trying to map midi channels or do I just open Reason or Fruity and get some work done? I don't know...Any way, how do you get any of the drum machines to work. Any advice would be appreciated.

Make sure the drum machines are not in external sync mode....you talking about dynamo or battery?

There is a play button in Dynamo.

    waynegee whats up?

So no play button? Well if you are using Reaktor then put one in. that is the beauty of reaktor-> completly modular,

If you are using Dynamo-SURE THERE IS.

If you want to talk battery with me-> bring it on. Battery is no drum machine and it never claimed to be. It is a drum sample play back engine. Battery is great for this, so yes you NEED a sequencer, but you do not need hours of time to figure it out. Shoot,,... if you are using VST it is super simple and fun and can serve as a huge creative grounds for drum tweaking.

sorry if i did not answer any questions as much as I reiterated some facts.
