New to Komplete freezing issues

    so my pc is now freezing quite a fair bit since installing komplete
    im running an i5 with 4gb of ram on windows 7 32bit

    plenty of HD space,

    but im pretty sure windows will not recongnise any more ram if i buy it
    would this mean any programme on my pc could not benefit from extra ram?
    or is it just the opertation system cant use it?

    i want to run komplete smoothly but need some advice on what to do next?

    also i have a ground loop, just changed my soundcard to a saffire usb,
    i have balanced cables from amp to speaker, could it be cables from amp to sound card ?

    i had this issue before i swapped out my soundcard

    many thanks this is very useful, i noticed im also missing some instruments from komplete like retro machines? where do i find this?

    If you want to add more RAM, you will need to install a 64 bits OS to be able to use it. If your Windows7 is a retail package, you should already have a 64 bits installation DVD.

    Programs can only access memory allowed to them by the OS, so if your OS is 32 bits, the programs won't access the extra RAM you might add.

    You say you have balanced cables between amp and speaker? Microphone cables? How much power does this amp have?
